Poor Yolanda was in a bit of a flap about going over to her cousin’s coral for tea. Yolanda has so many cousins it’s hard to keep up. There are the lipstick tangs, clown tangs, black tangs, chevron tangs, powder red, blue, and brown tangs, the regal or hippo tangs and that’s only some of them.
Yolanda isn’t all that keen on many of her huge family, especially the Blue hippos. Boy, Since Dory shot to stardom they’ve been so snobby. She does like the Rare Gem tangs (well they are rare and very beautiful just like her!) She said she wished she was going to their stunning black coral home. She thinks her bright yellow looks remarkable against the black coral even if she’s too visible for comfort.

But NO! The invite came from the convict tangs – Oh dear she was really upset. The poor thing didn’t know what to do. Convict tangs have such a bad reputation and live in a very dodgy part of the Bay. Yolanda hardly ever leaves the safety of her yellow coral, let alone ventures out of the rock pool. But she’s afraid if she doesn’t turn up they might get nasty.
Yes, I said I’d go with her. We actually had a very entertaining afternoon despite all Yolanda’s misgivings. Everyone was ever so hospitable and we were made very welcome. Yolanda was treated like a princess. They said they hardly ever get any visitors and couldn’t understand why. We assured them we’d come back soon and set off home as the sun was beginning to set.
