This small, native New Zealand owl is rarely seen but it’s distinctive cry of “morepork” is often heard at night.

Sandy is a Kelp Shepherd. Kelp Shepherds are responsible for the daily maintenance, care and stewardship of the giant kelp beds. These are as important to the oceans as rain-forests are to the land. Sadie and Sandy get along just fine and have some great adventures together, when their duties allow.
